DRIVERS

FULL TIME POSITION

Responsibilities:

  • Load and transport units from our shop to customers in the upstate and surrounding areas

  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items & perform preventative maintenance

  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving

  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations

  • Ensure proper paperwork is signed and turned in

  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

  • Collect and verify delivery instructions

  • Advise management of customer holiday closings

  • Build and maintain customer relationships

MECHANICS

FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize company software to determine/document: job status, work authorizations/limitations, estimate, description of problems and/or serviceability

  • Test equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various methods

  • Disassemble equipment noting parts identification, configuration and condition

  • Replace/repair work or defective parts such as: Bearings, brushes, brush holders, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, tachs, fans, end shields, etc.

  • Retest reassembled electromechanical equipment for proper operation

  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment

WINDER

FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect electromechanical equipment for damage & electrical malfunctions

  • Test winding conditions

  • Illustrate data specific to units electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, existing damage or intended serviceability.

  • Dismantle & strip damaged electromechanical equipment

  • Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding

  • Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment

  • Test equipment and document results

  • Operate specialized repair and testing equipment

  • Winding machines, test panels, surge tests, core loss-testers, cut off saws, burnout ovens, grinders, cranes, forklift trucks, brazing units, dip tanks, VPI systems and various handheld power and non-power tools. 

MANUAL MACHINIST

FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

  • Record all data necessary to produce expected service & design results (sizing and illustrations)

  • Use measuring devices to correctly to assure proper sizing

  • Perform milling operations such as:

    • Drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional milling and lathe work, using various engine lathes (e.g horizontal and vertical mills)

  • Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment

  • Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques

  • Perform various welding operations (e.g., precision surface facing), broaching procedures and babbitt bearing work

  • Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools including band saws, belt sanders, hand grinders and files.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

FULL TIME

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturers schematic diagrams

  • Trouble shoot & test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment

  • Follow company procedures for requestioning and charging materials and parts

  • Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level like:

    • Diodes, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, other printed circuit components

  • Verify repairs using various start-up testing procedures

  • Operate specialized equipment like:

    • Oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, high-voltage insulation testers, AC/DC volt-ohm-milli-ammeters, clamp-on ammeters, frequency generators, signal generators, capacitance meters, various test panels, soldering equipment, infrared scanning equipment, handheld tools
